Former FNB Customers: Account Conversion Details

What To Expect

As we transition your account(s) from First National Bank Northwest Florida's operating system to the Innovations Financial Credit Union operating system, we are committed to making this process as seamless as possible. Please take a moment to review the key details about Conversion Weekend and how it will impact your account(s).

Conversion Date and Time

The conversion process begins at 5 PM on Friday, January 31, 2025. At this time, your First National Bank accounts will transition to Innovations Financial Credit Union's system.

Lobby Service Available on Saturday, February 1, 2025

To assist you during the transition, two Innovations branch locations will be open on Saturday, February 1, from 9 AM to 2 PM:

23rd Street West Branch
Middle Beach Road Branch

New Account Numbers

Your new account number will be mailed to you in January, along with the last four digits of any debit card linked to your account.

Innovations Routing and Transit Number

Starting February 3, please use Innovations FCU's Routing and Transit Number: 263281556 for any new ACH or direct deposit transactions.

  • Existing direct deposits and payments, such as Social Security deposits, payroll, and automatic withdrawals, set up before January 31, will continue without interruption.

Debit Card Transition

  • You will receive a new Innovations FCU debit card in January, which can be activated on February 3, 2025.
  • Update any automatic payments linked to your current First National Bank debit card with your new Innovations card details.
  • Your First National Bank debit card will be deactivated at 5 PM on January 31.

Checks

You can continue using your checks with the First National Bank logo until they run out. After the account conversion, your current checks will continue to process without any disruption.

Online and Mobile Banking Services

Your First National Bank online and mobile banking credentials will no longer work after 5 PM on January 31.

Please note the following:

  • Transaction History and Statements: Download or print your transaction history and statements before the system is deactivated.
  • Bill Pay Services: Payee information and payment history will transfer to Innovations' digital banking platforms. Payments submitted prior to January 31, 2025, will be processed without interruption.

Beginning February 3, you may enroll and begin using the Innovations Digital Banking services. Here's what you will need to Enroll your account:

  • Online Banking: Visit innovationsfcu.org/digital-banking/online-banking/ to enroll using your Social Security Number, Account Number, and Birth Date. Business Accounts will need their TIN or EIN and account number.
  • Mobile Banking App: Download the "Innovations FCU" app from your device's app store and click "Don’t have an account? Enroll." Your Social Security Number, Account Number, and Birth Date are required for enrollment. Business Accounts will need their TIN or EIN and account number.

Account Statements

Innovations will consolidate your Share (Savings), Checking, and Loan accounts into a single monthly statement per account number. Account statements are mailed at the end of each month.

  • A final account statement from the First National Bank system will be sent for account activity through January 31, 2025.
  • Following the account conversion, you will receive your first integrated Innovations FCU account statement. Your first statement will serve as a reference to verify balances, etc., by matching it to your January 31, 2025, statement.

Safe Deposit Boxes

If you currently have a safe deposit box at one of the former First National Bank locations, your access will remain unchanged. A new Fee Schedule with lower rental rates will be mailed to you.

Lobby & Drive-Thru Account Services — 101 East 23rd Street Branch

Beginning February 3, 2025, the 23rd Street East Branch, located at 101 E. 23rd Street, will no longer provide in-person lobby or drive-thru account services. The 23rd Street East Branch will transition into a Mortgage & Business Lending, Operations, & Administration Center to better serve the needs of our membership.

For in-person account services starting Monday, February 3, we invite you to visit any of our other 8 branch locations.

December 2024 — January 31, 2025

First National Bank Northwest Florida customers will need to rely upon the former First National Bank Northwest Florida locations only for service of existing accounts until all accounts are integrated at account conversion, which begins on January 31st. All First National Bank Northwest Florida locations, including existing ATMs, will be retained as Innovations branches.

Fees & Transaction Limitations for your former FNB account: These are effective until January 31, 2025.

Former First National Bank Northwest Florida customers will be able to use ATMs fee-free at any Innovations branch or CULIANCE network locations with their First National Bank Northwest Florida ATM and debit cards. Please note that First National Bank debit cards will be deactivated on January 31, 2025, when the account conversion process begins.

Your existing First National Bank Northwest Florida credit card is issued and managed by the Independent Bankers Bank N.A. (TIB) and will continue to work.

Will my certificate rates change?

All certificate (formally Certificate of Deposit — CD's) products will retain their structure and term when converted.

Will beneficiaries transfer with account(s)?

Any previously designated beneficiaries will follow the account when integrated with Innovations FCU's system.

Will my loan(s) remain the same following account conversion?

We expect your existing loans to transfer to Innovations FCU with the same terms. If a change to any loan could be necessary, we will contact you to discuss all available options.

How will this affect my loan payments?

You will continue to make loan payments to First National Bank Northwest Florida until account conversion. Loan payments will be made to Innovations FCU.

National Credit Union Association

Deposit accounts are now insured by NCUA up to $250,000 per account category. The NCUA is a federal agency created by the United States Congress, which administers the National Credit Union Share Insurance Fund and offers similar deposit insurance to that of the FDIC. Added Deposit Insurance Protection

To further protect member's accounts, Innovations provides the highest combination of federal and private share savings deposit insurance available: $500,000, which includes savings accounts, checking accounts, money market accounts, and share certificates (which are similar to CDs).
